Ask not what your country can do for you…

The world is very different from when my grandparents, members of the Greatest Generation, lived. The beliefs my grandfather fought for in World War II that American’s rights do not come from the hands of a benevolent state but from the hand of God are in jeopardy. I wonder if my generation has forgotten that we too are beneficiaries of the American Revolution? Our forefathers have passed the flame of liberty on to to the following generation. My generation seems weak and lacks a a burden of responsibility. Instead this generation carries a demand for entitlements and seems unwilling to sacrifice and take on the responsibilities as citizens of freedom. Instead, we are willing to put on the shackles of government servitude for the promise of security, bailouts and benefits. It is in our hands, that rest the success or failure of our nation. It is on our backs that the free world’s rise or collapse will be decided.

We are called upon to once again ignite the beacon of hope and show the world the great enterprise of freedom

Throughout history a precious few generations have been granted the privileged role of defending freedom. As the Middle East descends into chaos the trumpet of freedom summons America once again. This is not a sound to arms, not a call to battle. No, it is the call to defend freedom. We are called to once again ignite the beacon of hope and show the world the great enterprise of freedom. America must fulfill her destiny and be the great city on the hill that cannot be hidden. Our fellow man needs us and we must rise up and show the world that America is indeed the bastion of freedom.  We must not shrug off this responsibility – we must embrace it. We must ask not what America can do for us but what we can do for her. We must become the Greatest Generation v2.0.

A.    GOAL SETTING- Know where you are going

Silence is golden. Not according to research. Is the death of team building.

Claremont University study shows that when trust in community is below 30% poverty rates increase… Think of poor areas where there is high crime… Same is true in companies.

D.    Accountability – Others believe in you
